Do not miss the Marmolada, also called the “Queen of the Dolomites”, the highest range in the UNESCO Site of the Dolomites (3265 m)!
From Malga Ciapela (1450 m), by the cableway, you reach the peak of Marmolada and its glacier. Once on the top, on the panoramic terrace, you can enjoy an amazing 360° view of the Dolomites and visit the highest museum in Europe: the Great War Marmolada Museum. It was built in 1990 to safeguard the relics of the war recovered by the famous “City of ice”; as well as the events recreated thanks to soldier’s letters and written. The entrance is free.
